Setting Up Your Emotional Baseline

How ReAlign personalizes your daily reflection prompts to match your current life chapter without putting you into rigid clinical boxes.

What is an Emotional Baseline?

Everyone is going through a different season of life. One month you might be starting a demanding new job; another month you might be navigating a breakup, recovering from burnout, or trying to rediscover your creativity.

Your emotional baseline is a simple 60-second questionnaire you complete when you first join ReAlign. It tells the app what you care about right now, so your daily prompts feel relevant rather than generic.

Why Your Baseline is Not a Diagnostic Label

Human emotions change naturally from week to week. Your baseline is not a medical diagnosis or a permanent box. It is simply a compass that adjusts the tone of your dashboard.

For example, if you indicate you are feeling overwhelmed by work deadlines, your morning rhythm card will emphasize grounding breathwork and boundaries rather than asking you to set ambitious goals.

How to Update Your Baseline Anytime

Life changes quickly. Whenever your focus shifts, you can update your settings in seconds:

  1. Go to Settings (the gear icon on your dashboard).
  2. Select "Profile & Calibration".
  3. Adjust your primary focus areas (e.g. Work Stress, Relationship Clarity, Mindful Focus, or Sleep Quality).
  4. Save your changes. Your dashboard suggestions will adapt immediately.
