What is the Emotion Dictionary?
Have you ever felt a knot in your stomach or a strange heaviness in your chest, but didn't have the word for it? The ReAlign Emotion Dictionary contains over 120 human emotional states, written in simple, relatable language.
For every single emotion, you can see: • What it feels like in plain words. • Where it typically shows up in the physical body (jaw clenching, tight chest, hollow stomach). • What this emotion is trying to tell you (e.g. Anger usually means a boundary was crossed). • A practical 2-minute regulation tip.
How to Browse or Search the Dictionary
• Search by Keyword: Type any feeling or physical symptom into the search bar (e.g. "tight chest", "lonely", "imposter"). • Filter by Family: Tap any of the 8 emotion tags to view related terms. • 1-Click Journaling: When you find an emotion that resonates, tap "Journal on this" to start an entry pre-populated with that focus.
